Territory Sales Manager – Missouri, Arkansas, Southern Illinois
Heritage Cutter is a privately held, US manufacturer of precision cutting tools. Our products include carbide end mills, high-speed steel, cobalt and powdered metal end mills, taps, and countersinks. We go to market under the Data Flute, Brubaker, Weldon, and Decatur Diamond brands.
Data Flute is an industry leader in the manufacture of high performance, application specific, solid carbide rounds. Weldon is a long-established manufacturer of premium carbide and high-speed steel cutting tools. Brubaker Tool serves our customers from our facility in Central Pennsylvania that has been in continuous operation since 1881. The ideal candidate will be disciplined and have a strong technical background and strong working knowledge of metal working and machining. Desired candidate will also have experience in technical sales and applications for carbide and high-speed steel, solid round tools based. Experience-based working knowledge of the potential customers in the relevant geographic area of responsibility. Our sales professionals must be comfortable assisting our valued customers with tool evaluation, testing, run-off and process improvement. They should also possess the communications skills and technical background necessary to work effectively with customer engineering and manufacturing associates. The position may require regular or frequent travel. The candidate should be able to keep track of their sales and effectively communicate with other team members while out in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients
- Provide technical field support of our end-user customers.
- Provide field service support for our distribution partners.
- Generate potential leads for future sales
- Track and report sales in organized manner
- Territory sales managers will be responsible for the level and quality of sales in the territory.
- Communicate effectively with management and team members
- May include regular or frequent travel
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience based
- 2- 5 years of sales experience
- Strong work ethic and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and customer relationship management software
- Ability to travel in order to conduct business
